Save filter

Save a named filter as YAML in the repository; an existing name replaces that filter.

Command filter.save. Writes files in the working tree, never to Git. It is refused while the workspace is read-only. Checks the sort of the filter against the metamodel, which is missing or faulty.

Field Type Required Description
name name yes Name of a saved filter, unique in the workspace ignoring case (spec-frage #363); used to call it (selection.filter). Saving under an existing name replaces that filter.
description string no
view view no core, a variant ID, or absent for all. A variant’s view: the core requirements it neither excludes nor replaces, plus those valid for it; elements without validity property are in every view (SR-043).
where condition yes Checked as in a selection; element references are written as UUIDs.
sort array of sortKey no Order of element.list with this filter when its input gives no sort.
Field Type Required Description
files array of string yes
problems array of problem no
